An un-employed (Un-employable) non-licensed “plumber” that wishes to buy his ex-employer’s company with NO funding or even a license to provide the service he professes himself to be able to provide. (a plumber?)
Rob (A.K.A. bossman) just brought this moron to my attention – after visiting his website (http://www.bouchardforgovernor.com/home/) and reading the propaganda sent to Rob’s house, I just HAD to post my thoughts on the Republican in Michigan running for Governor in the state just up the road from me.
He’s pushing for Michigan to become a “Right To Work State” like Indiana (My State) is – but you’ll notice that Mr. Bouchard is NOT posting the unemployment rate of Elkhart County Indiana, or LaGrange county or many other Hoosier counties that ARE “Right To Work” counties in a “Right To Work State” that are well over 16% and have been for almost two years now.
Mr. Bouchard is stating that forcing people to join unions has driven employers out of Michigan, but failed to mention that NOBODY is ever forced to join a union – Employers sign a contract with labor unions not to hire non-union members. If said employer is not in agreement with such a contract, why in the hell would they sign the bloody thing in the first place?
Michigan and Indiana are BOTH “At will” States, meaning that an employer CAN and DO terminate employment for any reason they feel fit. (You hair color sucks – poof, you’re history) Attempting to portray “Unions” as the reason for Michigan’s unemployment rate is to me, like saying that the BP oil spill was an act of God.
I’m posting a copy of the “Bouchard/Land” propaganda flyer sent to our friend in Michigan that shows the tactics used by the GOP to gain votes. Portraying citizens in other states as “buffoons” (Georgia, Florida & Texas) – I guess I should be glad that he didn’t use Hoosiers in his propaganda, but I’m guessing that ‘that’ state would have been too close to home for people to buy. Why can’t GOP Politicians understand that not every voter in the U.S. is as dumb as they’d like us to be?
